Recently opened VLCC centres in Colombo and Bangladesh Wellness and beauty giant VLCC Healthcare Ltd will be expanding its Gujarat operations by adding three more centres to its existing tally of five centres in Gujarat by the end of this year.
The company already has two outlets in Ahmedabad and one each in Surat, Baroda and Rajkot.
With over ten million customers in the last 10 years, the beauty solutions, slimming solutions and health brand already has a steady global presence in seven other countries apart from India as well.
The company recently expanded its international footprint by opening VLCC centres in Colombo and Bangladesh in early April this year.
“The company plans to expand its geographical footprint in Gujarat and add more centres by coming up with three more outlets this year. In terms of our revenue growth, Gujarat is the third highest in terms of the size of our business here coming just behind Mumbai and Delhi. Our business in Gujarat has doubled in the last 2 years and we see this as a healthy indication of the pace at which the wellness industry is growing here,” said Sandeep Ahuja, MD, VLCC Health Care Ltd.
The company has clocked a 35 percent year on year growth in the last two years. The company at present enjoys 10-12 percent share in skin care products segment.
To add to its Wellness portfolio, VLCC is also bringing its partnership with gloval longevity and spa brand Pritikin, that has a huge US prescence with a day centre outlet at Delhi.
While the day centre has already been launched in Delhi, the group is also looking to expand this partnership by opening three more day centres in the next two years and add one residential property in the next 2 fiscals respectively.
