The Kolkata-based FMCG Emami for the current financial year has roped in Bollywood actor, Neil Nitin Mukesh to endorse its personal care range. Teh company has plans to hike its ad spend by 15 per cent in 2011-12.
Director Harsh Agarwal told PTI,”In 2010-11, our marketing expenditure was around Rs 200 crore, in the new fiscal we are looking to grow this by 10-15 per cent.”
The financial details of the deal with Neil haven’t been disclosed, but he is likely to be with the brand for at least one year.
