Arvind Q3 net up seven-fold

Arvind Ltd, one of the leading integrated textile, apparel and branded apparel retailer, has registered seven-fold jump in its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2010, standing at Rs.48 crore as against Rs.7 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous year.

The consolidated revenue during the third quarter this fiscal also increased by 22 per cent to Rs. 1004 crore from Rs. 825 crore in the year-ago period. On the stand-alone bases on revenue of Rs.648 crore, Arvind Ltd has earned EBIDTA of Rs.88 crore and PAT of Rs.31 crore.

The growth in consolidated revenue for the quarter is fuelled by impressive growth of 57 per cent revenue growth in branded apparel and retail business segments.
