Addict Juice Bars, one of the first chains of Smoothie Cafes in Southern India, has formally opened its first standalone store in Bengaluru. The outlet, located at Koramangala, is spread over an area of 1500 square feet and has a seating capacity of 30. Apart from smoothies, Addict also has a wide range of functional beverages and healthy eats, such as, salads and sandwiches.

Krishna Verma, director, Addict Juice Bars, said, “With the launch of our first standalone store in Bengaluru, we are attempting to reach out to a vast audience. The range of our products, the thought and the concept behind each of them shows our endeavour to provide the very best to our customers. It is interesting to see that apart from attracting the gym-goers and health conscious corporates, our store has also attracted the attention of young women and families with children.”

The brand began its operations in June 2009 in Bengaluru. The company has plans to open 15 more such outlets by December 2011 in malls, IT parks and a few standalone stores based on the franchisee model.
