Belgian-based luxury food chain Debailleul, well-known in Europe for its line of chocolates and pastries, will open its first outlet in Mumbai in January 2011. Debailleul, was founded in 1983.
For the Mumbai store, there will be five products lines: chocolates, ice creams, sorbets, pastries and breads.
Founded by Marc Debailleul, who was also awarded the “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” (the highest award given to a chef, translating into “best craftsmen”), Debailleul is known for its artistic, intricately decorated pastries.
