Must Read

Kiehl’s, a New York-based maker of skin and hair care products, has made its debut in India with a flagship store at Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. With this launch, India is the 39th country to join the Kiehl’s family.

Kiehl’s was bought over by L’Oreal in 2000 and is now a part of the company’s India luxury products division. Products by Kiehl and carried by the store will be imported from the manufacturing unit in New Jersey, USA. L’Oreal has partnered with Planet Retail to launch Kiehl’s in India.

"We are excited to bring in the warmth and quirkiness of New York’s East Village through the boutique’s design and our spirit of active generosity. Our products, textures and results will be demonstrated through a thorough consultation and each customer will be given generous samples depending on his/her skin needs," said Dinesh Dayal, director, Kiehl’s India.

Dayal also added, "We are constantly striving to further our efficiencies – in our products, in our packaging, in our stores, and in the service we provide to Kiehl’s patrons around the world. As we infuse the Kiehl’s ethos in India, we look forward to Indian customers becoming a part of the global Kiehl’s community!"

Founded in 1851, Kiehl’s New York Pharmacy is a family-owned business with a range of skin and hair care products. The company began by supplying pharmaceutical tonics and medicinal salves culled from natural ingredients. Kiehl’s products are based on natural ingredients and the manufacturer takes part in the global act of not testing its products on animals.
