The Loot, a Mumbai-based multi-brand retail chain, has entered Kerala by opening a store at Annas Arcade in Thiruvananthapuram.

The newly launched store spreads over 500 sq.ft retail space and retails over 100 national and international premium brands such as Nike, Spykar, Puma, Reebok, Fila, Lotto, Van Heusen, Allen Solly, Levi’s, Lee, Fcuk and John Players, among others.

Jay Gupta, MD, The Loot, says, “To propel the growth of the company and move to the next level, The Loot has invested in IT. The company is focusing on personnel training and great emphasis is being laid on preparing the back-end to grow to about 200 stores across India by March 2011.” The Loot currently has 153 stores in India.

He adds, “A modern fully equipped and technologically upgraded warehouse has been set up at Bhiwandi to meet the growing demand of expansion.”

The main aim of the company, Gupta informs, is to provide a delightful experience to the customer and give them what they need.
