Lifestyle opens 2nd store in Delhi

Last year their turnover was Rs 1072 crores. In the coming three years their target is to become a Rs 3,000 crore business. With aggressive expansion plans across India, International Pvt Ltd launched its second store in the capital on July 22, Thursday. This is their 22nd store in the country.

The celebrations were attended by former Miss Sri Lanka and Bollywood actor . The Lifestyle store also marks the debut of international hi-street fashion brand Splash in North India.

Lifestyle is looking forward to making its presence felt in tier II and tier III cities as well. , Managing Director, said, “We got a very good response to our Jaipur store. We have plans to open stores in Jalandhar, Kanpur, Ludhiana, Nagpur and Coimbatore. For advertising our strategy is to use vernacular newspapers for communication or a combination of vernacular and English dailies.”

The new store at , Vasant Kunj is spread across 70,000 sq feet and houses more than 250 national and international brands including Louis Philippe, , Arrow, Park Avenue, Benetton, Bossini, Nike, , Allen Solly, Levis, Kappa, , Police, , Swatch, Tissot and Tag Heuer etc. across categories including apparel, cosmetics, footwear, toys and kidswear, travel accessories, infant wear and infant basics, cosmetics and perfumes. Splash, located on the first floor within Lifestyle, offers 5,000 sq feet of bedazzling young fashion.

Currently, Lifestyle covers a total of 1.2 million sq feet. By the end of 2011, the brand targets a store count of 30, with 10 Splash stores.

Lumba said, “We target to become a pan-India brand, and our USP is the international store experience, a very relevant product mix for the Indian consumer that strikes a strong balance between international and strong national brands and a strong private label offering to complete the bouquet.”
