SRS Group, with a strong presence across multiple sectors, has recently launched its 10th food court, under the brand name SRS 7Dayz, in North India. The completely vegetarian multi-cuisine food court at Aditya Mall in Indirapuram (Ghaziabad) is spread over an area of 8,000 sq.ft and offers comfortable seating arrangement for 220 customers.
Speaking exclusively to IndiaRetailing, Tinku Singh, group president, SRS Group, shared the company’s expansion plan for the brand. "We expect to grow the number of food courts to 47 by next year with an investment of Rs.300 million."
On the average bill value (ABV) at SRS 7Dayz, he said, "It basically depends on the area of operation. Food courts in North India, for instance, generate an ABV of Rs.150-250 depending on the city and customer profile, while in places such as Bijnor, the ABV may be as low as Rs.100 and as much as Rs.250 in cities such as Faridabad and Ludhiana."
He said the group expected an initial ABV of Rs.200 from the Indirapuram outlet and would take it upto Rs.250 in future.
On the marketing front, the company plans to undertake outdoor branding activities from time-to-time to target customers. "We are looking for corporate tie-ups wherein we can promote our brands for business parties as well kitty parties in every location. We will also run promotional offers similar to the ones running in our other existing locations," Singh said.
SRS 7Dayz is currently operational in Faridabad, Greater Noida, Bijnor, Ludhiana, Jind, Gorakhpur, Moradabad and Indore.
