The UK-based cosmetics and toiletries brand, The Body Shop (TBS), has opened its latest store at Gurgaon’s up-market Galleria Shopping Complex, taking its store count in India to 50. With the opening of the new store, TBS now has 12 stores in the Delhi-NCR region.
The brand has also recently opened a shop-in-shop at Shoppers Stop, GVK One Mall, Hyderabad. The new SIS at Shoppers Stop is the brand’s third shop-in-shop in Shoppers Stop. Both PoS will offer store opening promotions, free make-up applications, skincare and make-up consultation besides the regular collection of products. On the launch of the new stores, Shriti Malhotra, General Manager, The Body Shop India, says, “We are proud to achieve the golden milestone. Since the launch of the first TBS store in India in 2006, it has been a great journey for the brand so far. In a span of four years, we have 50 stores across 20 cities. By the end of this fiscal, we will have 65 stores in 30 cities.”
