Planet Sports unveils new logo

Pantaloon Retail (India) Ltd’s multi-brand sports lifestyle retail chain Planet Sports has unveiled a new logo. The new identity reflects speed, dynamism and power.

“With its new logo, Planet Sports is reinforcing its commitment to Indian sports lovers, who are looking for cross-category, cross-product sports solutions, through its basket of globally renowned sports lifestyle brands. We aim to be the most admired sports player in a multi-sports, multi-product format and to augment India’s sports culture,” said Ravdeep Singh, CEO, Planet Sports.

The logo’s previous planet (with a revolving orbit) has now been replaced with dynamic lines forming a planet. The striking colour combination emphasises freshness, agility and speed.

Planet Sports currently has a total of 78 stores across 30 cities covering a total retail space of 1.2 lakh sq.ft.
