Govind Shrikhande has become managing director of Shopper’s Stop Limited. The company announced this, along with its Q1 FY11 results, recently.
In his nine-plus years of association with Shopper’s Stop Ltd, Shrikhande has managed several roles and grown within the company.
Shrikhande started his association with the company as vice-president, buying & merchandising, in 2001 and became the chief operating officer (COO) in 2004. He took charge as CEO in 2006 and was elevated as president and CEO in 2009, before being further elevated to managing director of the company.
