Ed Hardy, a fashion brand known for its urban street wear and bold tattoo design, has launched its exclusive outlet in Ambience Mall, Gurgaon. The store is spread over 1,500 sq.ft area.
“The Delhi, NCR have high levels of brand awareness and are potent markets for the growth of global brands in comparison to other domestic markets. Both these stores will offer comprehensive Ed Hardy lifestyle experience and showcase the latest fashion merchandise straight from the runways of Los Angeles,” said Abhinav Zutshi, head – international brands, Wadhawan Lifestyle Retail Pvt Ltd.
Ed Hardy is soon to open a new outlet at Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. This will be the company’s second outlet in Delhi; the company already has an outlet at Select Citywalk.
Wadhawan Lifestyle Retail Private Limited (WLRPL) is the lifestyle retail arm of Wadhawan Holdings Pvt Ltd. The initiative of the company is to primarily license global premium brands into India along with incubating original brands in new categories. WLRPL introduced Ed Hardy to the Indian consumer in 2007.
“WLRPL will actively continue to deliver the best of brands and international fashion in the coming years. We are in the process of evaluating about six to seven global brands which have a strong connect with Indian consumers,” said Zutshi.
