After opening the first liquor outlet at a city mall, Delhi Government’s premier infrastructure development agency DSIIDC is now in talks with some other shopping complexes to set up similar outlets ahead of the Commonwealth Games.
An official in the DSIIDC said the agency will open another sprawling liquor outlet in a mall in Rajouri Garden area of the city in a day or two.
“The basic idea to open these outlets is to facilitate hassle free buying of liquor. We are in talks with many other shopping malls for space to open more such outlets,” a DSIIDC official said.
DSIIDC, which runs 103 liquor vends across the city, is aiming to set up more and more such high-end liquor outlets to target foreign tourists who will be thronging the city during the Commonwealth Games.
