Haier, one of the leading home appliances and consumer electronics brand, has announced its plans for 2010. The brand is aiming at an aggressive strategy to reinforce its strength and spread across product categories and consolidate its position as the leading refrigeration and laundry appliance brand in the world.
Eric Braganza, president, Haier Appliances India said, “We at Hier are proud of our strong customer connect, which inspires us to break new barriers in consumer-relevant innovation. We are well poised to achieve our growth target of over 200 per cent this year over FY 2009. In Q1 of FY 2010, we have already achieved a 216 per cent growth over the same period FY 2009. As we are now ready to enhance our range of products across product groups we are proud of the fact that Haier has one of the largest range of products across most of the categories.” He also informed that the company plans to invest Rs.30 crores on promotional activities.
Currently, Haier has 10 experience centres in India and plans to open another 10 by the end of April. Going forward, Haier will launch another 70 centres by the end of this calender year.
To consolidate the brand image in India, Haier also unveiled a new brand campaign titled ‘You Inspire Us’.
