The Gujarat Garment Manufacturers Association (GGMA) announces the 16th edition of GGMA National Garment Fair 09, one of India’s premier events on Garment Industry. Scheduled to be held from July 18-20, 2009 at the University Exhibition Hall, Helmet Cross Road, Drive-in Road, Ahmedabad, the Fair promises to bring the glamour that the GGMA National Garment Fair has created throughout the year. It further expects to attract a large number of business visitors across the country.
Speaking about the Fair, Bhimraj Pawar, president, GGMA, says, “The 16th GGMA National Garment Fair 09 will be the best and biggest Fair ever. With the tremendous success achieved in the 15th GGMA Fair 08, all eyes are now on the 16th Fair09 as there is a big optimism of the prospects of all round growth of the Garment Industry.”
“With the economy showing signs of coming out of the lean patch caused by the slowdown due to global economic recession, manufacturers, exporters and retailers are fired with hope of a surefire revival in the very near future. The GGMA Fair will be the right platform to think afresh and work out strategies to meet the new economic order which is expected to take shape globally,” adds Pawar.
Further to that the organiser informs that the Fair will house more than 150 stalls displaying over 500 brands of the country in a sprawling area of more than 2 lakh square feet and draw Garment Business visitors from all over the country to a single point.
