In sync with company’s pan-India expansion plan, Titan Eye+, the optical retail chain from Titan Industries, has unveiled its 50th Titan Eye+ store in Kolkata. Further, the company intends to double the network in the next one year and has been launching new products to match international trends and quality, according to a top company official.
Commenting on the development, Bhaskar Bhat, managing director, Titan Industries Ltd, said, “Titan Eye+ is our venture aimed at redefining the eyewear market in India. Benchmarked against the best in the world, we offer a huge choice of products, caring service and high quality products unheard of in the Indian market.”
Having embarked on the retail journey in March 2007, Titan Eye+ is present in more than 20 locations. Added S Ravi Kant, COO — Eyewear Division, Titan Industries Ltd: “In line with our scheduled expansion plans, we have crossed the milestone of 50 stores in a very short span of time and we intend to double our network in the next one year. Besides increasing our network size, we are continuously working towards launching new product collections, and offering the best contemporary designs and styles that match international trends and quality.”
Titan Eye+ chain offers a range of over 1,000 stylish products under the brands Titan, Eye+ and Dash (for children), in addition to a host of international brands for frames and sunglasses. In terms of optical lenses, the company offers three brands – Essilor, Kodak and Titan lenses. Moreover, Titan Eye+ has entered into a technical pact with Sankara Nethralaya for training of their retail and optometric staff.
