DLF arm to develop retail space across India

In an initiative to offer retail spaces across the country, DLF Group promoted DLF Commercial Complexes (DCCL) will invest Rs 50 billion approximately to develop around seven multi offering commercial projects across the country in 2009. The first project, to come up in Ludhiana, will comprise office space with a considerable retail area, reports ET.

“The company plans to launch six-seven such commercial projects in the country at different locations in the current year,” quoted Ajay Khanna, MD, DCCL in the report.

“The company has already acquired land for the projects and a similar venture would be launched in Amritsar in six months. Our concept of offering retail and office complexes under one roof has received a tremendous response nationally. The Galleria, DLF Ludhiana would bring the same concept for the people of Ludhiana,” added Khanna in the report.
