Must Read

Tata Coffee, one of India’s largest green coffee producers with a hand in every aspect of the coffee making process including business activities ranging from growing and curing of coffee and tea to manufacture and marketing of value-added coffee products, has been learnt to have handed over the distribution functions of its instant coffee brands to group company Tata Tea.

According to reports, this move will witness two of its brands Mr Bean and Coorg Pure ride on the back of Tata Tea’s formidable distribution network. Meanwhile, the company has been rebranding its café-cum-retail stores Mr Bean Coffee Junction as Tata Coffee Plantation Fresh.

Currently, the company is operational with 35 Coorg Coffee World outlets in the southern states, which will eventually be shut down or converted to Tata Coffee Plantation Fresh to sell gourmet coffee to the discerning young customer, added the reports.
