Shoppers Stop unveils Crossword store at Pune

Sticking to its expansion plan, bookstore chain Crossword has launched a new store at Ishanya mall in Pune. The latest outlet is a franchisee store.

After Shoppers Stop, a part of Raheja Group, acquired 100 per cent stake in Crossword in 2005, the number of bookstore chain has become 55 countrywide.

Shoppers Stop runs a chain of departmental stores with brands including brands Shoppers Stop, Home Stop, Crossword, Mothercare and Cafes & Restaurants. These brands operate across various retailing formats that include apparel, accessories, perfumes, books, music, home products, and other products with over 260,000 stock-keeping units.
