Triveni to sell off rural superstore chain

Triveni Retail Ventures, a hundred per cent subsidiary of Triveni Engineering and Industries, is learnt to be considering sale of its rural superstore chain Triveni Khushali Bazaar.

According to reports, the group may either divest the venture or offer controlling stake to prospective buyers. The group’s move is attributed towards focusing on its core operations.

With over 40 stores of the chain primarily in the northern rural markets, Triveni retails a number of products across verticals including agri and non-agri products, cattle feed, cycle, plastic furniture, FMCGs and automobiles.
