The European Patent Office (EPO) in partnership with Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi and Brand Protection Council (BPCouncil) will be hosting ‘Growing Business with IP’ on July 17-18 in Milano, Italy to make people learn more about doing business in emerging markets.

According to an official release, the two day seminar will address issues that include ‘how to use intellectual property to grow your business in China, India and South America’. Participants will learn the ins and outs of the Chinese Patent System which is now more accessible with its new translation search tool. Participants can look forward to hearing about a wide range of topics concerning these business markets including:

• Branding across borders
• Countering piracy
• Recent intellectual property litigation in Asia
