ATG to control Future Bazaar’s website

Future Bazaar India Ltd, one of the popular online retailers in India, has hired Cambridge-based Art Technology Group (ATG) to restructure and maintain Future Bazaar’s website.

Announcing this, Sankarson Banerjee, chief executive officer, Future Bazaar, said, “We selected ATG on the basis of quality of their framework. We were also impressed with the passion that the ATG team has for their products.”

In an issued statement, Cliff Conneighton, senior vice president of marketing, ATG, said, “We are proud to be chosen by Future Bazaar. Our services will help this top brand establish and maintain a satisfied, loyal and profitable online customer base.”

As per the deal, ATG will also update Future Bazaar’s customer-contact email service and call centres.

Founded in 1991 by Jeet Singh and Joseph Chung, ATG develops and markets a suite of e-commerce software products and provides related services, including maintenance, education and application hosting. ATG’s clients include A&E Television, Aetna Services Inc., Alcatel-Lucent, American Airlines Inc. and Wells Fargo & Co.

Futurebazaar.com currently offers more than 15,000 products in 19 different categories.
