Technopak ties up with Vertebrand — to enter new verticals

New Delhi-based management consulting firm Technopak Advisors has picked up a significant equity stake in Vertebrand, a Bengaluru-based brand consulting firm.

Announcing the pact at a press conference in Bengaluru, Raghu B Viswanath, MD and founder, Vertebrand, said: “Through this alliance, we intend reaching out to more global clients. It is a significant stake, but the two companies will continue to operate as individual organisations.” He declined to disclose more details regarding Technopak’s stake and investments.

“In order to offer a complete range of solutions to clients, Technopak decided to team up with Vertebrand for brand consulting services. Vertebrand’s talent pool and intellectual expertise will be of interest to our current and future clients as the power of effective branding becomes critical for all businesses,” Arvind Singhal, chairman, Technopak Advisors, told Indiaretailing

Meanwhile, Technopak is also looking at foraying into new verticals for its next phase of growth in the country. Initially, the company will help hospitals in strategy and implementation, and later in management of hospitals. The company is also considering a tie-up with a global design firm specialising in hospital design.

Technopak plans to launch its services in the hospitality sector in a couple of months.

The company is also considering entering “another exciting services sector in about six months,” Singhal said, refusing to divulge details.
