Shringar Cinemas Limited, which owns and operates Fame multiplexes, has launched its latest multiplex property edition called Fame Lido at Lido Mall in Bengaluru. Spread across 30,000 square feet, Fame Lido is a four-screen multiplex with a seating capacity of 993. The company plans to have 19 properties and 68 screens across the country by March 2008.
“At present, Fame has 14 properties and 44 screens across the country. By March, we will have a total of 19 properties with 68 screens across the country. We will take the Fame experience to cities like Mumbai, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Patiala, Pune and Kolkata. Bengaluru will see three more Fame multiplexes in the next fiscal,” Shravan Shroff, MD, Shringar Cinemas, told Indiaretailing.
Shringar Cinemas Limited, which is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE), began its entertainment business with Fame Adlabs in April 2002.
