After a five-year stint in the marketing team of Sports Station India Private Limited (SSIPL), Gurdeep Bhatia has put in his papers and will assume his new position at ITC’s FMCG division. The nature of his profile was not disclosed till this news was posted.
Bhatia played a vital role in the launch and establishments of Lotto, an Italian footwear brand, in India. He also played a key role in getting tennis star Sania Mirza to be brand ambassador of Lotto. Last year, backed by SSIPL, Bhatia introduced Levi’s footwear, contributing to the renewed popularity of canvas footwear.
