Beauty giant Jean Claude Biguine enters India

Must Read

Jean Claude Biguine, one of the leading French beauty houses with 350 salons and spas across 17 countries, have confirmed their entry into India with their first dedicated beauty house in Mumbai. The approximately 5000 square feet French beauty house offers contemporary and innovative solutions for hair, beauty and skin.

“We’ll have three to four ‘House of Beauty’ salons in Mumbai and Delhi by 2007-08, offering international quality services and trends by global and local professionals, trained to deliver contemporary beauty services. We are planning to peg our prices in the aspirational zone of about 20-25 per cent higher than established salons,” said Dharmendra Manwani, CEO, Jean Claude Biguine, India.

The company is readying for 45-50 salons and spas in India in the next four years, under two formats – spas and standalone salons. The investment per store is pegged at Rs 2.5–3 crore.

“Beauty,” says Jean Claude Biguine, “is always there, it needs to be enhanced by aligning right services with the right mood by well-trained professionals, who practice beauty as passion and not profession.”
