Fedders Lloyd has planned to revitalize its Lloyd brand to make it a consumer durables company. The Delhi-based group had changed its business model to commercial air conditioners, some years back. The company plans to enter ACs as well as new categories like electronics and consumer durables with a positioning in both premium and mass-market segments.

The company has planned to launch DVD players, microwave ovens, air conditioners and LCD televisions under the Lloyd brand. In the future the company has plans to enter in the television segment as well; it has earmarked Rs. 50-70 crore for this segment.
